Join a Walk

Take a look at the events below to view the reTURN the Favor walk schedule and sign-up to join. Walks last approximately 1 to 2 hours and cover approximately 1 to 2 km of beach. Be prepared with: comfortable clothes for wet and cold weather, footwear you don’t mind getting wet, water to re-hydrate, sun and bug protection, camera, headlamp or flashlight.

Public Walk- Cooks, Highs, or Pierce’s Point Beach

Join New Jersey Audubon on a public walk to some of Cape May County's spawning beaches- Highs, Cooks, or Pierce's Point. All attendees will meet at New Jersey Audubon Center for Research and Education (CRE): 600 Rt. 47 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 for a short training session before hitting nearby beaches. Public Walk- Thompsons Beach

Spring is winding down, but still have time to rescue horseshoe crabs. Great for all ages. Service learning credit available. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear footwear that can get wet. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight and bug protection. SPECIAL NOTE: When driving on Thompson’s Beach Rd you will come to a parking lot and a gate on the road. We will meet at this gate in the parking lot. There is a 0.71 mile walk to get to the beach.
